Why I'm Running for School Committee

Lexington's schools are strong. But strength isn't enough.

Too many families feel unheard.
Too many children slip through cracks that shouldn't exist.
Too many educators lack the support they need to do their best work.

I'm running because I've lived this. As a parent of two special education students, I've navigated both the excellence and the blind spots of our system. I understand that every child must be truly known — their strengths celebrated, their challenges met with support, their potential unlocked through partnership between families, educators, and community.

Empty school hallway representing systemic gaps
When systems don't see individuals
Children's hands building representing potential
Every child has unique gifts
Community meeting representing bridge
Partnership bridges the gap
"Change starts with listening and speaking up. I bring a proven track record of doing both."
