Why I'm Running for School Committee

Lexington's schools are strong. But strength isn't enough.

We are all invested in the success of Lexington’s schools.
Families, educators, and residents deserve to be heard—with mutual respect.
By listening carefully and partnering thoughtfully, we can make responsible decisions for our schools and our community.

I'm running because I've lived this. As a parent of two very different learners and a longtime member of education committees, I've seen both the excellence and the blind spots of our system. I believe every child deserves to be truly known: their strengths celebrated, their challenges met with real support, their potential unlocked through genuine partnership between families, educators, and community.

20+ years in Lexington
Rooted in our community
Proven leadership record
Ready to lead on day one
2 children through our schools
Personally invested in results
"I believe in schools where every student is seen, supported, and challenged—and in a community where people feel heard. I'm running to help strengthen trust, deepen communication, and ensure that our schools continue to reflect our shared values."
